2022 Holley LS Fest East: Playing In The Dirt With Grandpa’s Bug
Off-Road racing has been a part of LS Fest West in Las Vegas since it first started, but after seeing how popular it was with the fans and attendees, Holley knew they had to add that same kind of excitement to LS Fest East. And boy have they! With a newly constructed off-road track situated in the farm lot at Beech Bend, there is plenty of high flying action for fans to see. We’ve got rigs like this all the way up to monster trucks having a great time on track and putting on one hell of a show.
Driving an off-road capable Volkswagen Bug with an LS1 hanging off the back usually involves a trip to Baja California…or the police. But Trent Matheis found a better option to wring what used to be his grandfather’s car out: the off-road course at Holley’s LS Fest East. There, sending the Bug off of a dirt jump is allowed and highly encouraged!
